Elaine Kwok

Biography

Elaine Kwok is a postdoctoral fellow with Dr. Peter Rosenbaum. She completed her undergraduate training in Molecular Biotechnology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and her clinical Speech Language Pathology and PhD training at the University of Western Ontario. Throughout her research training, Elaine has used a variety of research methods, including molecular genetics, EEG and mixed-methods. A major focus of Elaine's research program is practice-based research, where research is informed by, conducted within, and intended for clinical practice. Currently, Elaine is exploring the intervention goals selected by speech-language pathologists for preschoolers with communication disorders.
