Biography

Tamara graduated in 2012 from the University of Toronto with a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy. Currently, she is completing her PhD at the University of Alberta in the Department of Pediatrics. Tamara is able to intersect her research interests in Autism Spectrum Disorder with her clinical practice as an occupational therapist - both in the community and at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. She is interested in developing a measure on social participation for pre-school children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her advisors are Dr. Lonnie Zwaigenbaum and Dr. Joyce Magill-Evans and her committee members include Dr. Sandy Hodgetts and Dr. Geoff Ball.
